What will you do to promote the just, prompt, and affordable resolution of civil cases that come before your court?
I will establish an accelerated docket, by agreement of the parties, for cases that do not require extensive discovery. This will allow cases that do not need extensive pretrial activities to be resolved quickly and efficiently.
Court System
What specific actions would you take to ensure the timely resolution of cases while maintaining fairness for all parties?
Fairness to the parties is the result of an evenhanded application of the law, and the rules of civil procedure. I believe a judge’s role in court is similar to an umpire. If they are doing their job well, they are hardly noticed.
