How will you address the case backlog in your court to ensure timely resolution for all parties?
I have consistently run one of the most efficient courts in Harris County maintaining some of the lowest docket numbers in the misdemeanor courts. I run a court where everyone’s time is respected without compromising our ability to follow the law. It is my job to make sure all rules are followed, parties are respected and due process is consistent. That way we remain on track!

How will you ensure efficient and equitable resolution of matters that come before your court, and that all residents — regardless of their financial means — have meaningful access to legal resources?
Like I have always done, everyone is treated the same. Everyone’s rights are respected and all are provided equal opportunity under the law regardless of financial means.
