Accountability
What will you do to promote the just, prompt, and affordable resolution of cases that come before your court?
I believe justice should be fair, timely, and accessible. I work hard to keep cases moving, reduce unnecessary delay and expense, and respect the time and resources of the people and attorneys who come before my court. My goal is to resolve cases as efficiently as possible while never sacrificing fairness, due process, or the careful consideration each case deserves.
Issues
What do you consider the most pressing issues facing family court today, and what is your role as a family court judge in addressing them?
The most pressing challenges facing family courts are increasing caseloads, the cost and delay of litigation, and the profound emotional impact these cases have on families and children. As a family court judge, my role is to keep cases moving while never losing sight of the people behind them. That means being prepared, making timely decisions, treating everyone with dignity and respect, and ensuring that each person who comes before my court has a fair opportunity to be heard.
