Cory Don Sepolio
As a trial attorney with 22 years of experience I have a proven record of exemplary results. For decades I participated high stakes litigation, including over 100 jury trials across 14 jurisdictions. I served our community as an assistant district attorney where I sought justice for victims and accused alike. I prosecuted members of organized criminal gangs such as MS13 and Aryan Brotherhood. Since 2019 I served the citizens and litigants as the judge of the 269th District Court earning among the highest marks by the Houston Bar Association and having an unmatched and stellar appellate record. I have a reputation as being trusted by both sides of the bar and objective and just in all my rulings.
When I took the bench in 2019 I shared the 269th with two criminal district court judges as a result of the continuing displacement resulting from hurricane Harvey. In the early Spring of 2020, the pandemic shut down the courts the exact day the criminal court judges were able to return to their own courts. The past several years required sharing and patience to ensure justice functioned in all courts. Despite these obstacles the 269th has performed admirably and continued to try cases. We are back in the 269th and have new facilities to continue our mission of ensuring justice and equality to all litigants. This year the 269th was in trial more days than another other civil district court and earned top marks by the Houston Bar.
