Harris County Chair, Democrat
Serves as head of the county executive committee, comprised of precinct chairs who are elected from voting precincts within the county. Presides over meetings, appoints party officers, runs the primary election every two years. Also, hires and manages staff, serves as the party’s spokesperson,
raises money to fund the organization, and generally is charged with helping to elect party candidates in elections.
