Don Hooper
I have served as a precinct chair, member of the ballot security committee, state convention delegate, and a member of the legislative priorities committee at the 2024 state convention. My career has been dedicated to working at all levels of government to advance my business interests. I am committed to upholding conservative values and implementing President Trump’s America First agenda within the county. I firmly believe that this approach will enhance our electoral prospects (including filling the ballot) and ensure a substantial voter turnout, which have been lacking in recent years. As a native Houstonian, I am dedicated to making Harris County Great Again!
1. Filling the Ballot. Six democrats have already won the November 2026 general election because the Harris County Republican Party failed to recruit candidates for those positions. In November 2024, the Harris County Republican Party failed to field candidates in 12 judicial races. I will fill the ballot by working with all stakeholders and recruiting qualified Republican candidates for these critical positions.
2. Law and Order. The November 2026 campaign for Republicans in Harris County must be dedicated to restoring law and order to Harris County, including ending the ODonnell Consent Decree, supporting ICE cooperation, and electing leaders committed to prioritizing law and order. The loss of innocent life in Harris County must end.
