I have a wide variety of experience. I've worked as a substitute teacher; I have worked with children with mental health and learning issues within the school and I am a parent of a young child in Alvin ISD school systems. I am also an attorney who will follow the law, always do what will ensure the continuation of a well-funded public education for all.

One of the most important things school board trustees will be tasked with in the coming years, is working collaboratively with parents and educators to ensure our schools are properly equipped to provide a quality education for all. One which meet state standards and prepares the children for the next steps in their education. That requires novel ideas, that may challenge the status quo, but which will be imperative to properly serve our diverse community. Bonds are another important issue that the Board will face. In the midst of inflation, we must perform a stringent cost benefit analysis before recommending additional bonds while also considering the investment it is in the future.
