I have dedicated my life to public service. After studying international affairs and conflict resolution, I started my career in intelligence at the Pentagon. I was there during the 9/11 attack, and was called to federal service as a Special Agent with the Diplomatic Security Service and later Homeland Security. During my career, I directed high-profile protection details around the world, conducted counter-terrorism investigations, and led disaster response teams during Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria. Now, I bring that experience to local industry as a security consultant.

I don't like bullies. I have fought them overseas and in our backyard, and I'm ready to stand up to them at the Texas Capitol so our state can work for everyone.
The two most pressing issues are education and public safety. As a father of two sons and law enforcement professional, I have up-close expertise on these issues.

Public dollars belong in public schools. That means investing in teachers, securing safe campuses, and ensuring every child has access to a quality education. I intend to stop the funnelling of our tax dollars to private schools.

Public safety isn't just a response to a problem, or a crisis, or a disaster; it's preparation. We need upgrades to oil and gas infrastructure and to accept new energy sources that make our grid more reliable. Law enforcement, fire, and medical personnel deserve proper resources, effective training, and the ability to focus on their core responsibiliti
