Keith Coleman
Keith Coleman served 22 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, beginning as an enlisted Marine and later serving as a commissioned officer after being promoted by General Colin Powell, including service as General Powell’s paralegal during the Iran-Contra investigation. He later served on the Illinois State House of Representatives’ Military Initiatives Advisory Team, gaining experience in state legislative affairs. Mr. Coleman also brings private-sector experience from United Airlines and helped develop a $30 million educational initiative with Walmart. A local business owner and retired educator, his career spans K–12 education, college teaching, and higher education administration, reflecting a lifelong commitment to service and leadership.
