As a four-time candidate and activist, I've listened—the best solutions come from the ground up. I feel the impact of bad policy daily, from healthcare costs to stagnant wages. The two most pressing issues are economic injustice and a broken healthcare system. My specific plans are to champion a federal living wage and push for fully funded education from early childhood through college or trade school via legislation like the College for All Act, and fight to pass and expand Medicare for All to guarantee healthcare as a right, while immediately lowering drug costs by allowing Medicare to negotiate prices.
