I bring 30+ years of senior leadership experience in public policy, housing, economic development, and finance that directly prepares me to serve in Congress. I served as Chief of Staff to the late Congressman Sylvester Turner, managing operations, budgets, and legislative strategy, and previously as Chief of Staff to the Mayor of Houston, overseeing 23 city departments, 21,000 employees, and a $6.2 billion budget. I hold degrees in Architecture and City and Regional Planning, am a small business owner and real estate developer, and a lifelong Houstonian. My career has focused on delivering results on affordability, healthcare access, and economic opportunity, with a deep understanding of how federal policy impacts families and communities.

As a Member of Congress, my top priorities will be lowering the cost of living and expanding access to affordable healthcare. Families across Houston are struggling with rising housing costs, Insurance, childcare, and healthcare expenses that strain household budgets and limit opportunity. I will work to expand affordable housing through tools like the Low-Income Housing Tax Credit, protect renters, support first-time homebuyers, invest in job training, & strengthen small businesses. I will also fight to reduce healthcare costs by strengthening the Affordable Care Act, lowering prescription drug prices, expanding Medicaid access, investing in community health centers, and improving maternal & preventive care so families can stay heathy.
