Terry Virts
I spent over 30 years in the USAF as an F-16 pilot with 45 combat missions over Iraq, a test pilot, and a NASA astronaut with over 7 months in outer space, including commanding the ISS. Since retiring I have been a small business owner and worked at NOV as an energy transition consultant, mostly working on carbon capture in the oil and gas industry. My experiences and perspectives are unique, including growing up in a working class / union family, working in the energy industry, and working with executives and government officials around the world as a guest-lecturer at Harvard Business School.

Affordability- I will work to lower health care costs by increasing supply- more doctors, hospitals, MRI machines, nurses, generic drugs, etc. I will also restore ACA subsidies and Medicaid eligibility.

I also believe the inhumane treatment of immigrants needs to end- I will reduce the size of ICE, require them to not wear masks unless on a tactical mission, and re-focus the agency to go after criminals.
