Jon Bonck
I was raised by my grandparents on their farm, grounded in faith, hard work, and responsibility from an early age. After attending LSU and working a year for minimum wage, I moved to Houston, broke into the oil and gas industry, and later built a successful real estate and mortgage brokerage with my wife. For more than two decades, we’ve helped Houston families navigate challenges caused by red tape and outdated policies. In Washington, I’ll fix those barriers because I’ve lived them, and I’ll fight for the same families we’ve served for years. As a father of two young children, I understand how today’s policies affect parents and their futures, and I want to give them back control. I am an America first, Texas first candidate.
My first priority is affordability. Families need relief from rising costs, and that starts with cutting the barriers that make it harder to start businesses, buy homes, and own a piece of the American dream. We must continue rolling back the policies driving up costs and limiting opportunity. My second priority is immigration. We must secure the border, enforce the law, and continue large scale removal of those here illegally while putting the safety and wellbeing of American citizens first. Texans bear the brunt of illegal crossings from South America, and I will work with President Trump to stop it.
