Carlis Lollie
My background working as a healthcare professional, nonprofit founder, and community servant uniquely prepares me to serve as Harris County District Clerk, as each role demands accountability, precision, and a deep commitment to public service.

As a nurse practitioner, I handle critical information and life-impacting decisions in highly regulated environments where accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance are non-negotiable. These same standards apply to managing court records and public documents. As a nonprofit founder, I’ve built programs, managed budgets, ensured compliance, and led teams. Together, my experience reflects a commitment to service, careful stewardship of public resources, and dedication to advocacy.
As your next District Clerk, my campaign is centered on "Restoring Trust" through the C.A.R.E. Plan that is centered on the foundations of Compassion, Accountability, Results, and Efficiency. Two of the most pressing issues I will address are modernizing court services and ensuring transparency. Too many customers experience slow, confusing, and frustrating interactions with the court system. I will streamline filings, implement modern tracking systems, improve staff training, and reduce document processing times by 30% in the first year. I will also provide ethical leadership, conduct regular audits, and share clear public reports so that every decision, every process, and every dollar builds confidence and trust in our office.
